This map layer contains points locations of historic resources included in the 2018 Local Historic Resurvey completed by Bloomington Restoration Inc (BRI) for the City of Bloomington Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) Department. This is a resurvey of the Historic Sites and Structure Inventory conducted by the State of Indiana Department of Natural Resources in 2014 and published in the County Survey section of the State Historic Architectural and Archaeological Research Database (SHAARD). The resurvey itself contains several non-addressable sites and other structures that may not be included in this data set. Survey sites are rated on a scale of Non-contributing, Contributing, Notable, and Outstanding. Previous surveys were published in 1985 and 2011 Interim Reports. The 2001 Interim report was amended in 2007 to include several new survey districts.
