Dataset
Road, sidewalk, parking and other location-relevant municipal events (noise permits, and more). This information is published by Bloomington's inRoads application on the web, to email lists (public, businesses and press), and through multiple open data formats. Data may also include roads events originating from non-Bloomington sources such as Indiana University, Monroe County Government and INDOT.

Daily COVID-19 reports from Johns Hopkins University Center for Systems Science and Engineering. This dataset is generated by calculating differences of each cumulative daily report from the previous day to identify daily changes in the number of confirmed, active, recovered, and fatal cases. This dataset reports from after CSSE changed its daily report schema on March 22.

Reports of City of Bloomington employees with positive COVID-19 viral test results by department since March 28, 2020. The dataset also includes results from the municipal corporations of the Bloomington Housing Authority, Bloomington Transit, and the City of Bloomington Utilities. Note that results listed as "City Hall" include results from multiple departments whose employees work only at City Hall. These include: Community and Family Resources, Controller, Economic and Sustainable Development, Housing and Neighborhood Development, Human Resources, Information and Technology Services, Mayor's Office, Parks administration, and Public Works administration.

Dataset
Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs) are regulated by the Safe Drinking Water Act through the Stage 2 Disinfectant Byproduct Rule. The City of Bloomington Utilities collects monthly samples at 8 testing locations throughout the distribution system and follows a quarterly compliance schedule. Compliance is calculated on a Locational Running Annual Average (LRAA). The Maximum Contaminant Level for TTHMs is 80 µg/l. Micrograms per liter (µg/l) is equal to parts per billion (ppb). One part per billion is roughly equal to a teaspoon of water in an Olympic-size swimming pool.

The City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) in cooperation with the Indiana Finance Authority is participating in a monitoring program which tests wastewater for coronavirus. From August through December of 2020, wastewater professionals from CBU collected samples three times each week at eight sites across Bloomington, including each of the two wastewater treatment plants. Throughout 2021 samples have been collected from the two wastewater treatment plants. Testing of those samples is conducted by multiple private, independent laboratories in an effort to gauge viral prevalence in the community.
More information about this process can be found in the Indiana Wastewater Monitoring Report 2020 at:
